Having recently completed a three-year renovation, Recanta Primavera is a T5 that has been thoughtfully split into two separate, self-contained villas — each with its own private garden and pool. Stay in one, take both, or let the families spread out.

The décor is a considered blend of Portuguese craftsmanship, Victorian English and retro chique: Lefroy Brooks of England brass fittings, heated marble floors, Gaggenau appliances and air-conditioning in every room.

Situated just 280m from the coast path, it is approximately 2.5km to walk to the white sands of Praia da Luz, or 2km to beautiful Burgau.

Western Algarve

Between Burgau and Praia da Luz

Just above the coast path between two quiet fishing villages — cobbled lanes, painted boats, a whitewashed chapel on the headland — Recanta Primavera sits where the western Algarve softens into a long stretch of honey-coloured cliffs.

You can spend the morning swimming at Burgau, walk the 3.5km cliff path to Praia da Luz for lunch, and be back on the pool deck for the sunset. Lagos is fifteen minutes by car; Faro airport, an hour.
